Home2021 Conference Recap

After dealing with a pandemic and COVID restrictions...we were SO EXCITED to have an in-person 2021 NDCA Conference in Nashville, TN. It was a true blessing!

The energy was magnetic as coaches networked with their “people” and dove into a wide variety of classes all relevant to what dance team coaches need & want in order to be successful, fresh, and prepared. It was an indescribable, and incredible feeling of community & camaraderie.

Highlights included the motivational keynote speaker, former UCLA’s award-winning Women’s Gymnastics Coach, Valorie Kondos Field, Coaching, Dance Safety, and Judging credentialing courses, a plethora of movement and how-to classes, and of course, line-dancing! Our Partner/Vendor Expo was filled with excitement as they helped coaches plan a successful season.

NDCA HALL OF FAME

At the Gala, we inducted three iconic dance team leaders into the NDCA Hall of Fame - Donna Haas, Jodi Maxfield and Kathy Enyart.

Each of them spoke about their dance team journey and had the room in tears as they shared triumphs and disappointments. One of the goals of the NDCA is to honor our own, and we did that with our 2021 Hall of Fame, member awards, and service pins.
