Home2022 Conference Recap

The Embassy Suites Cool Springs was the perfect location for everyone to come together for a weekend of learning, celebrating, and getting fired up for next season. We exceeded our attendee goal and were excited to see so many new faces.  Our volunteers worked hard to create a beginning-to-end meaningful experience, and we are thankful for their dedication and perseverance.

In a nutshell:

* We offered 34 classes
* We had over 30 high-end speakers
* We had 20 Partners/Vendors who introduced coaches to the latest dance team innovations
* We gave away countless prizes, including free conference tuition, Partner/Vendor swag, and free drink tickets
* We ate and drank delicious food and drinks all day long, including made-to-order breakfast and free hotel happy hour
* We partied with country line dance queen Melanie Dailey
* We made countless new dance friends
* We were moved by heartfelt speeches made by the Hall of Fame Inductees at the super fun Denim and Diamonds Gala

We said goodbye to Nashville and are excited to announce our 2023 Conference

May 18 - 20, 2023

One of the goals of the NDCA is to honor our own, and we did that with our 2022 Hall of Fame, NDCA member awards, and service pins.

At the Gala, we inducted three iconic dance team leaders into the NDCA Hall of Fame - Leslie Swiggum, Sandy Hinton, and Mary Wendt.

Each of them spoke about their dance team journey and had the room in tears as they shared triumphs and disappointments.

Congratulations to all of our nominees and winners!
